Mush Mór Mushroom Powder Gravy

Mush Mór Exotic Mushroom Powder Gravy

(Serves 4)

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons butter or vegetable oil

  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 2 cups vegetable or chicken stock

  • 1 tablespoon Mush Mór Original mushroom powder and/or 1/2 tablespoon Mush Mór Adaptive Extracts

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Make a Roux:

    • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat

    • Stir in 1 - 2 tablespoons of Mush Mór mushroom powder

    • Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until it forms a paste and turns slightly golden

    • Make sure there’s enough butter/oil to coat all the mushroom powder and flour granules

  2. Add Stock:

    • Gradually whisk in the stock until smooth

  3. Simmer:

    • Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring frequently, until the gravy thickens (about 5-7 minutes)

  4. Season:

    • Season with salt and pepper to taste
