Mush Mór Exotic Mushroom Risotto

Mush Mór Exotic Mushroom Risotto
(Serves 4)
Ingredients:
1 cup Arborio rice
1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms (your choice)
1 tablespoon Mush Mór Original mushroom powder
4 cups vegetable or chicken stock, kept warm
1/2 cup white wine (optional)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Sauté Aromatics:
Heat olive oil or butter in a large pan over medium heat
Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent
Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant
Add Mushrooms:
Add the sliced fresh mushrooms and cook until they start to soften
Toast Rice:
Stir in the Arborio rice and cook for 1-2 minutes until it becomes slightly translucent around the edges
Add Wine (Optional):
Pour in the white wine and cook until it’s mostly absorbed by the rice
Add Mushroom Powder:
Sprinkle in 1 tablespoon of Mush Mór Original mushroom powder and mix well
Cook Risotto:
Add a ladleful of warm stock to the rice and stir continuously until absorbed
Continue adding stock, one ladleful at a time, stirring constantly, until the rice is creamy and cooked through (about 18-20 minutes)
Finish and Serve:
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired
